An extremely rare stater from an uncertain Cilician mint

CILICIA. Uncertain. Late 5th to early 4th century BC. Stater (Silver, 23 mm, 9.43 g, 10 h). Griffin seated left. Rev. Man-headed bull, horned and with curved wings, advancing left. Cf. Leu Web Auction 2 (2017), 291), Roma 14 (2017), 399 (as 'Samaria?') and Savoca, 15 October 2017, 79 ('Samaria'). Extremely rare. An unusually clear and nicely toned example. Somewhat porous, otherwise, very fine.
